Ohio Sickle Cell and Health Association launches new website

"We're excited about the opportunities this new site gives us. We're able to effectively communicate with people affected by sickle cell disease and their families. Beyond that, this will be a tool we can use to reach out to medical professionals fighting the disease, connect with legislators and help spread awareness in the public,"
According to West, the new site will feature a kids' zone page tailored for children with the disease, a page where online donations will be accepted and numerous links to resources on sickle cell disease.
The site was built with the help of volunteer work from the local chapter of the American Marketing Association and web designers and programmers, all providing their services pro bono.
